Kindergarten Cave Artists

Kindergarteners learned about early art forms from the prehistoric times.  After going on an adventure and discovering real cave art locations (via PowerPoint/SmartBoard), students made their own cave art inspired drawings of animals.  They used natural earth tones to add color so that their artworks would look more like the real thing.  After these were drawn, they even tried drawing on real rock!

  1. Thank you for all you do for our kindergarteners. They LOVE coming to art! I am so impressed with the variety of techniques and mediums that they get to explore!
