Kandinsky in Kindergarten

After being introduced to the primary colors in our Mondrian lesson, kindergarteners went a little further.  After seeing color mixing in action with colored water, students showed what they knew by making their own color study dots, like Wassily Kandinsky.  Here is Kandinsky’s work:

And here are a few of our kindergarteners’ works (done by Kaiya, Callie, Karina, Ikanke and Luke).  We made  primary, secondary, how to make orange, how to make green and how to make purple dots!
