Cultural Papercutting Works are Done!

Fourth graders have finished up cutting and mounting their cultural papercutting works.  After studying the papercutting arts of China, Haiti, Mexico and Poland, students designed their own work showing both interesting positive and negative space.  We mounted them on small squares of foam board to keep them lifted from their contrasting background.  This helps show off the hard work behind the cutting of all the shapes.
